With the development of casting technology and the increased requirements for casting quality, the continuous casting equipments with stable performance was needed to ensure the safe operation.In the manufacturing process of No1 caster in some steel factory at Hong Zhou city, the constant breakout , the beamy vibration mark of casting blank, the breakage of swinging arm and connecting bolts often appeared. which caused accidents and affected the surface quality of casting blank and the stable production. In order to solve the above problems, the dynamic performance of the key machine of the vibrator has been comprehensibly analyzed and studied from kinematic,dynamic and the path accuracy in the thesis by coupling the theoretic analysis and the simulation with the virtual prototype. The main factors which caused the previous problems in the vibrator were found and analyzed in detail. Some improve suggestion was given and validated.The trajectory of the machine in the vibrator was analyzed and calculated with the software Matlab. The error between the trajectory of the imitation arc and the ideal trajectory was gotten and the influence of the error on the technology and the production was analyzed in detail.Through kinematic modeling and calculating with the software Matlab for the vibrator, the kinematical characteristics of the angular bit shift,the angular velocity and the angular acceleration of the machine was gotten and analyzed. The analysis results indicated that previous characteristics were influenced mostly by the amplitude and the frequency of vibration. The suggestion of parameter optimization has been proposed, which provided theoretical basis for design of the analogous vibrator and solving practical problems existed in the vibrator.Through mathematic modeling of dynamic and calculating with the software Matlab for the vibrator, the load and the moment of force at the key of mechanism were gotten and analyzed. The analysis results indicated that bearing the weight of mechanism were influenced mostly by the amplitude and the frequency of vibration. And theoretical basis was provided for daily defend,parameter selection and performation of strenth.The three-dimensional solid modeling of the vibrator was performed with the software SolidWorks. Based on the solid modeling result, the kinematical and dynamic characteristics of the vibrator were gotten by simulating with the software Adams under the real operating condition. The dynamic load of the machine was also gotten at the same time.The structured strength analysis for the swing arm with complicated shape and loads based on finite element method by using the commercial software SolidWork COSMOSWorks. The stress contours and the maximum value of the stress were analyzed in detail. Based on the results, the improvement for the structure of the vibrator was proposed and analyzed similarly. The stress analysis result indicated that the improvement measure used to reduce the maximum stress was feasible and effective. The improvement measure has also been proposed and validated by performing experiments at the locale.The structured strength for the significant parts in the vibrator was performed,and the experiment results indicated that the improvement proposed was significant and effective.
