The resource of waste lubricating oil is quite widespread. The hazard is very difficult to handle. The waste lubricating oil is regenerate and preparated to light diesel oil by employing waste oil catalytic cracking are the two basic ways of processing waste lubricating oil. There were many problems during the process of technology research and development on refining light diesel oil from the waste lubricating oil in the past. Due to greater investment, the waste problem cannot be solved, oil productions blackening, high viscosity, high density, tending to oxidize, foul smell, the main quota of refined diesel oil is far lower than that of the international. The quality of the oil for automobile was not guaranteed ensured of using as boiler fuel. This paper is studied on a new catalytic cracking technology of refining light diesel oil from waste lubricating oil. With simple structure, hangy operations, better control of the catalytic cracking temperature, the technology is realized the purpose that preparing light diesel oil by catalytic cracking of waste lubricating oil.The catalyst which mainly contains silicon and aluminium was finally selected by evaluating the catalyst of catalytic cracking by experiment. Experiments are indicate the new catalytic cracking technology can be widely applied in all kinds of waste lubricating oil catalytic cracking wherever. Studied on the yields of oil, residue, un-condensable gas different amount of catalyst. The reaction temperature and time were investigated in the experiment. The optimum conditions of the reaction are: 0.4% amount, 380~460℃temperature of boiler,70~90mins time. Under optimum conditions, the yield of oil-producing is 91.2%. The analyzed results of the boiling range of liquid fuel are indicated that the liquid fuel consists mainly of light diesel oil. Through experimental assessment of stabilities of the prepared light diesel fuel, a delicate and non-hydrogenation technology of patent was finally selected. The stability treatment was processed by scaling off the colloid and gum by adding extraction that mainly consists organic and non-organic. The experimental result shows: the colourity of catalytic cracking fuel was significantly decreased (<2.5) and the stability significantly increased. The colourity and the stability measure up to the national standards in 20 days'restored, the colourity is below 3.5.Ten qualitatie indexs of refined diesel, such as the boiling ranges, flash point, cetane number were determined based on the test methods that specified in the national standard. The determination was contrasted to the quality index of 0# diesel that was provided for by GB 252-2000. They accord with the national standard. As the secondary pollution was well controlled in the reaction, this new technology will play a significant role in the economic and social development.
