The mineral resources of cooper and molybdenum in our country are very rich, however, they have low grade and wide distribution. Besides, the consumption of copper and molybdenum in our nation is very large. Hence, it benefits our nation and people and is of profound significance to strengthen the exploitation and utilization of copper-molybdenum ores. As the low-grade and difficultly dressing copper-molybdenum ores in liancheng for the research objects, in the paper the researches of process mineralogy, flotation perperty of pure chalcopyrite and molybdenite,and dressing experiment on actual ores are carried out.(1) The research on process mineralogy showed: in this copper-molybdenum ores, copper and molybdenmum are mainly recyclable elements, the major useful minerals are chalcopyrite, molybdenite and pyrite, and gange, except feldspar, are mainly quartz, muscovite, biotite and sericite and so on. The disseminated grain size of molybdenite is very fine, and its degree of liberation is only 86.22% when the grinding fineness reach -0.074mm of 90%, while chalcopyrite's is 93.20%. And molybdenum ores in the form of molybdenite accounted for 79.73%, which copper ores in the form of chalcopyrite is 94.87% of total copper content.(2) After screening kinds of new-type collectors, comparing new typing depressant with the common, and comprehensively evaluating in the terms of technical economic, security and environmental protection, and finally it was thought suitable for this dressing flowsheet to adopted kerosene as molybdenite'colector and sodium sulfide as chalcopyrite'depressant.(3) The actual ores were determined to be treated by the flowsheet of Cu-Mo bulk flotation, regrinding and reseparationg the bulk concentrate, namely, sulfide ores were dressed and tails were thrown up when the size of -0.074mm was 70% in in the first grinding, and the bulk concentrates were reground and reseparated when the size of -0.043mm is 90% in the second grinding, and the concentrates of molybdenum,copper and surfide were obtained. When the grade of copper is 0.17% and the one of molybdenum is 0.05% in the samples, through miniature closed-circuit experiments of whole flotation flowsheet, the molybdenmun concentrate containing 45.82%Mo and 0.44%Cu with 71.38% recovery, and the copper one containing 24.25%Cu with the recovery of 83.62% were obtained. Besides, sulfur is also recovered comprehensively and the grade of S is 39.30% with the recovery of 81.52%. And the processing indacators were meet and exceeded the expected goal.
