This topic designs a metallurgical slag quenching and tempering furnace, mainly used forsmelting slag, having an electrode heating and online conditioning function. Design and developmentof quenching and tempering furnace comprises a furnace body calculation and selection of auxiliarysystem. Its principle of work is discharge process of electric arc, it plans to the electrical energy intoheat, and used in smelting metallurgical slag, the mode of heat transfer by convection and radiation.According to the design result, smelting material as an example, in which the ratio of blastfurnace slag and fly ash is84.5%:15.5%, and acidity coefficient is1.2, and at last established a heatbalance system of metallurgical slag quenching and tempering furnace, the thermal efficiency is22.14%, the current efficiency is93.59%, according to with the requirements of the laboratory.In the production of high-temperature mineral melt as the object of study, analysising of the heatbalance system of high temperature melt in slag tank, the temperature of melt in the four rollerscentrifuge first stick is1340℃~1380℃, calculating the temperature dropped to12℃in slag tank, andmelt temperature range of slag hole is1352℃~1392℃. In this paper, analysis and discuss theinfluencing of temperature drop in the tempering furnace slag bath in different material and differentproportions. With the blast furnace slag as main raw material, fly ash, iron oretailings and silicaauxiliary materials, as the acidity coefficient increased by1.0to1.8, getting a high mineral melt slagtemperature drop range: fly ash is12.069℃~12.246℃, and showed a tendency to increase, thefluctuation range is0.177℃; and iron ore and silica temperature is12.032℃~11.964℃and12.037℃~12.001℃, and showed a tendency to decrease, the fluctuation range is0.068℃and0.036℃.Finally, conducting experiments, the thermal efficiency is24.1%of quenching and temperingfurnace, and the error is1.96%; the slag outlet temperature error is about10℃; the electricalequipment and machinery equipment of quenching and tempering furnace run well, the noise and dustpollution is little, composition and temperature of melt is easy controlled in the process of smelting.Figure15; Table16; Reference56...
