PCB(Printed circuit board)is the essential part of various electronic products,a lot of WPCBs(Waste Printed Circuit Boards) is now with the popularity of electronic products and upgrading generated. The material within these WPCBs covers almost the entire periodic table of the elements, and it is easy to cause serious damage to human health and the environment, so there is a definition of the State as a hazardous waste to it. The resource of WPCBs is mentioned by the NEPA at the beginning of 21 stcentury, followed by a joint Ministry of Information Industry(now the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs Administration for Industry State General Administration of quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and other departments to develop a series of laws and regulations.The demolition and crushing are essential parts in the resource processing of WPCBs, however, there is no mature technology to be discovered, the different aspects of experimental research from many Universities and Research institutes is dedicated to finding out an efficient, energy-saving, pollution-free industrial processing methods. Based on the original study of Key Laboratory of solid waste treatment and resource recycle, ministry of education, Southwest University of Science and Technology, the systematic research is conducted for the demolition and crushing of WPCBs in the resource processing of WPCBs.The study is based on the independent design and manufacture of WPCBs demolition equipment and crushing equipment. First, an Exploratory discussions is conducted for the experimental factors of WPCBs demolition, including the Melting and Condensation properties of the solder, the influence of Injection Pressure on the Vibration Amplitude, the influence of Ventilatory pressure and the intake air temperature on the variation of temperature inside the equipment, and the exploration of the deficiencies of existing equipment and the improved programs. Second, an Exploratory discussions is conducted for the crushing of WPCBs, including the analysis of the WPCBs substrates crushing conditions, the choice of Roll structure and the crushing conditions, and the influence to crushing efficiency. Through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experimentalinquiry, and ultimately to determine: The demolition of Slot, Through-hole components and the Big components on the WPCBs impacts maximally the crushing efficiency in the crushing process. And the demolition of the three sections is over 95%. Then the experimental factors for the followed study is discussed, and the order of the experimental factors is determined; The crushing efficiency of WPCBs substrate is over 90 by employing differential conditions,and the discussion of followed studies and structure improvements is conducted based on the stability if equipment operation and the environmental protection.The exploration of the pretreatment in the resource process of WPCBs lays the foundation for its in-depth study(Environmental protection, reliability,practicality, feasibility of industrial production).
