Basic communication program and display program are designed UML analysis method and object-oriented programming method in the datacenter. The basic communication program collects and saves workstations’ data. The display program communicates with the basic communication program to complete the function of data access and data distributed. It could monitor all workstations of the workshop by running the display program. Factory network and external network’ visit to datacenter is also accessed by the display program.Factory network and external network consist of datacenter and Client computers. The Factory network uses the Windows Terminal server / client model to simplify software deployment and facilitate clients’ access. Through the use of terminal server / client model, all the software work is done on the server and clients’ access to the terminal server is the same to native operating. Datacenter installs Windows Server 2003 operating system to provide terminal access capability.About communication protocol, since the main data are some of the real-time data and loss of data occasionally does not affect, therefore the faster UDP protocol is selected. VS2008 is used to design communications programs. In order to accelerate the development of applications, the intelligent communication class is designed based on CSocket class to deal with problems encountered in practice that includes interface provides and error-handling capabilities, package deal of data sending and receiving, the realization of automatic data retransmission function, the recognition of disconnect and automatic reconnection and so on.The remote monitoring system could perform the following functions, which are the view of real-time curve, historical data, alarm data and the change of process, the upload of process files, the update of workstation’ program, and has been verified in the field. It, to some extent, improves the synthetic diamond production management and production efficiency.
