Drilling string heave compensation system is an essential device in offshore floating drilling operation. But this technology has been monopolized by foreign countries and China has little say in this area. The research and development and the trial-manufacture must be done to break the monopoly. This article is for the research and development in drilling string heave compensation system, including the functional analysis, structure design and computational analysis.Research and analysis of the principle, relative merits and application to all kinds of drilling string heave compensation system are in this article. After on the base of knowing the present state of the research on drilling string heave compensation system well, the authors expound the functional design, technical parameters, structure type, materials, calculation on each application, control principle and according characteristics of the crown block mounted compensator. After reiterative confirmations, the authors approved this new type of crown block mounted compensator.According to the working condition and offshore anticorrosion, not only did the authors ensure the loads, including the permanent load, working load, nature load and dynamic load, but also the computing method of load combination in different applications. Through finite . element analysis to the crown block mounted compensator model with professional software such as ANSYS and SAFI, the authors can check the strength and stiffness, then give the final optimized model. The prototype need to be manufactured and tested in the later period. |
