The WPC(wood plastic composite) which contains both the advantage of wood and plastic were more and more widely applied in various fields of production and living,so it,s necessary to study the sound insulation performance of the WPC.Different specifications of the wood plastic composite materials were prepared to research the sound insulation performance of the WPC.In order to develop high efficiency sound insulation WPC material,different specifications of laminated material which were made of nonwoven fabric and WPC were also prepared to study on the sound insulation performance of the laminated material.First of all,Wood-plastic composite materials were prepared with different wood flour particle size态different wood flour content to research on the properties of materials.The result shows that: under the similar density,both the wood flour particle size and wood flour content made effect on the sound insulation properties of materials in the high-frequency region(over 1250Hz); when the wood flour particle size is 40,the WPC material shows best mechanical property.With the increase of wood flour content,both the mechanical properties and flame retardant properties showed a trendency of decline.Then different content of coupling agent and different content of barium sulfate were added to WPC separately under similar based formulation.The test shows that the coupling agent make obvious effect on the material,s mechanical properties;under the similar density,adding barium sulfate can increase the material,s sound insulation performance in the high-frequency region(over 1250Hz),and improve the material,s flame retardancy at the same time,but the material,s mechanical properties gradually decreased.Secondly,different specifications of Nonwovens/WPC laminated material were prepared under similar density.The test turn out to be that,when the nonwoven fabric hold a loose structure,the laminated material shows better sound insulation properties in regions under 500 Hz and over 1600Hz;When the asphalt materials was chosen as bonding layer,the laminated material shows better sound insulation properties in region over 1250Hz;When two kind of WPC material under different density were chosen as upper and lower surface layer material separately,the laminated material shows better sound insulation properties in region under 500 Hz.Compared with WPC materials under similar density,the laminated material shows better sound insulation properties in region under 500 Hz and over 1600 Hz.It can be conclude that the laminate structure can be used to develop high sound insulation property material.
