Copper and zinc are important metal materials, along with the exploitation of human beings, it makes mineral resources that they are depleting and ore has become increasingly poor, small and miscellaneous. The processing is becoming increasingly difficult and the processing cost higher. While dressing workers at home and abroad have done a lot of research work over the years, and have also made some research achievements.But for some embedded cloth relations and the copper and zinc sulfide ore which the composition of complex is difficult to choose, the existing mature beneficiation process is difficult to obtain ideal separation index. Therefore, both from improve enterprise economic benefits and the aspects of comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, the copper zinc sulphide ore separation of copper and zinc in China industrial development has very important meaning.According to the property of Cu-Zn ploymetallic sulfide ore from Tongkeng containing low-grade of Cu, chalcopyrite has fine dissemination size and close symbiotic relation with sphalerite, the flotation separation has been studied. So it is critical for a successful implementation to find a reasonable flotation process and system of flotation reagents for copper and zinc flotation separation.In the process mineralogy studies on the basis of the characteristics for the nature of the ore, to develop appropriate technical methods and measures have been carried out in order of priority programs of copper and zinc, copper priority-floating zinc sulfide mixed copper and zinc and other programs, and then separating buoyant exploration program made indicators are as follows:(1) The priority programs:copper concentrate has copper grade of 21.30% and copper recovery is 73.35%; Zinc concentrate has zinc grade of 50.10% and zinc recovery is 91.61%. (2) The priority-mixed flotation scheme:copper concentrate has copper grade of 20.65% and copper recovery is 73.50%; Zinc concentrate has zinc grade of 50.03% and zinc recovery is 90.91%. (3) The isoflotability flowshee:copper concentrate has copper grade of 18.48% and copper recovery is 76.56%; Zinc concentrate has zinc grade of 48.79% and zinc recovery is 93.54%.The gravity separation recovery of tin minerals in the flotation tailings has been explored in this paper.
