Mixed copper deposits are the major copper ore resources in China.At present,the sulfuration flotation method is widely applied for the separation of mixed copper ore.The main problems of the method are:the excessive sulfurizing reagent has a certain inhibitory effect on the copper sulfide ore when the sulfurizing reagent vulcanizes copper oxide ore,which finally leads to unsatisfactory flotation index.In response to this problem,the paper academically puts forward"improving the index of mixed copper ore flotation through strengthening vulcanizing copper oxide ores,and eliminating or reducing the inhibitory effect of sulfurizing reagent on copper sulfide ores".The project is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,"Study on the Mechanisim of Refractory Copper Coupling sulphide Flotation?51364017?".In this paper,the mixed copper ore from Dongchuan,Yunnan,China was chosen as research object.A series of systematized experiments of the mixed copper ore flotation index,such as grinding fineness,collector dosage,sodium sulfide dosage,combined ammonium-amine salt dosage,etc,were analyzed through direct sulphide flotation and enhanced sulphide activating flotation.Based on the above test results,the optimization model of the flotation conditions based on BP neural network and genetic algorithm have established,and the best flotation conditions are:grinding fineness-0.074mm 88%,Y89 dosage 110g/t,sodium sulfide dosage 330g/t,combined ammonium-amine salt dosage 80g/t?ethylenediamine phosphate:ammonium sulfate:ammonium bicarbonate=4:3:3?.The technical index of 20.04%copper concentrate grade and 89.27%copper recovery were obtained by the flotation closed-circuit test.Due to the index of the closed-circuit test of the direct sulphide flotation was obtained with copper concentrate grade is 20.62%,and the copper recovery is 86.22%.Comparatively,the enhanced sulphide activating flotation process improved 3.05%copper recovery.Malachite,chalcopyrite and bornite single minerals were chosen for batch scraping flotation experiments to further study the variation of flotation rate over flotation time under various factors.The results showed that the addition of the combined ammonium-amine salt help the Cu recovery increase by 23.7%to 43.96%over that of direct sulphide flotation.And then,in the paper,the flotation rate of three copper minerals under different conditions were calculated and fitted.The results showed that the combined ammonium-amine salt increased the flotation rate of three copper minerals and accelerates the flotation process.In the process,the K values of malachite,chalcopyrite,and bornite enhanced sulphide activated flotation were increased 0.16,0.11,and 1.04 than the direct sulphide flotation.Under the condition of enhanced sulfide activated flotation,the flotation behavior of malachite was conformed to the second-order rectangular distribution kinetics,the flotation behaviors of chalcopyrite and bornite correspond to the classical first-order kinetic and first-order rectangle distribution.The flotation mechanism of three copper minerals with enhanced sulfide activated flotation was investigated under different analytical methods,such as Zeta potential,SEM-EDS,etc.The results show that the combined ammonium-amine salt can improve the adsorption of xanthate and the adsorption stability on the surface of malachite.Moreover,it also enhanced the degree of sulphide on the malachite surface,reached the expected goal of enhancing the sulfidation.The combined ammonium-amine salt reduced the S ion concentration in the chalcopyrite flotation and prevented the adsorption of S element on the chalcopyrite surface,eliminated the adsorption of HS-and S2-on the bornite interface,and enhanced the xanthate adsorption.A good effect of sulfide activating was achieved.
