Underground mine communication bears important tasks in mine safety. The existing communication system has many problems. For example, the system difficult to implement, in some places signal cannot get and system has only one function. It is difficult to meet the needs of production scheduling, then it always leads disaster. Faced with this problem, leakage communication system has become a way to solve this problem. This paper introduces the important part of the system and its basic operating principle. This paper also combines the current research situation at home and abroad, independently designed the data transmission interface module.The paper is based on the topic that the application of control and trouble-shooting used in mine communication system. The main research of this paper is data transmission interface module. This module is the key part of the whole system that if it is poorly designed, the whole system will be affected. The main work is divided into the following:(1) The paper presents a scheme that applied combiner to the data transmission inter-face module. The aim is to combine multi-channel digital signals into one-channel digital signal, and transmit it to the underground by only one leaky cable. In this way, it can not only reduce the use of the leaky cable, but also improve the reliability of the system.(2) The paper designs a digital combiner based on multiplexing, and realizes the software and hardware of combiner by FPGA. A large number of sequential logic programming and triggers need to be used when processing signal. The hardware part is based on Altera’s CycloneⅣ series chip EP4CE6E22C8as the master chip. Hard-ware circuit design includes the signal receiving module, signal processing module, signal transmit module and any other auxiliary modules. Using QuartusII as develop-ment platform to design software. Software design includes reduced frequency module, UART serial port module, multiple control module, FIFO and multiplexer module.(3) The paper builds hardware circuit test environment, and gets chip signal by hard-ware debugging software firstly, then observes signal by oscilloscope. We test the signal through this environment, the result show that the system design is effective.The paper tests the design of data transmission interface module. After several rounds of testing, the test results show that the system meets the design requirements. This system will have a good economic and benefits in the future.
