With the exhaustion of nonrenewable resources, the improvement of energy efficiency could not meet human society’s fast development. As a new type of alternative energy, the biomass energy represents the present and the future energy development trend, and has extensive development space and favorable application area. Banana stalks and bagasse are major agricultural waste in Hainan and have considerable amount. With the cut of transportation fees and improve of efficiency through centralized collection and adaption to industry uses, those waste could be recycle and reduce environment pollution. It will brings distinct environmental and economic benefits, also makes the sustainable development of agriculture and environment happens in the longrun.Through literature data collection, field surveys, business research and experimental studies, this article collected and measured the bananas, sugar cane acreage and production data in Hainan province at2007-2012. The waste amount of banana stalks and bagasse were huge, mainly in the northwest of Hainan. The resource utilization of banana stalks were burning to field, mechanical chopper and extracting fiber. The resource utilization of bagasse mainly sold to companies for paper manufacturing fiberboard, mushroom culture medium, etc. The amount of banana stalks and bagasse produced between396.68~584.35million ton and88.63~119.33million ton respectively at2007-2012.Through dehydration test, storage test and crushing equipment screening of banana stalks, the results show that after dehydration and crushing, mass of banana stalks had a loss of77.78%, which could greatly reduce transportation costs. The banana stalks moisture content decreased from90.5%to19.05%after treatment, and moisture content had little change after6months storage; Raw centralized collection process of banana stalks were as follows:Banana plants-Cut down-Crushed-Compression-Transportation-Drying-Storage; determine bagasse feedstock centralized collection process:cane-pressed sugar-bagasse-compression-packaging-packing transportation-stacking. After compression bagasse reduce packaging weight by40%, volume declined by2/3, the density compression from250kg/m3to750kg/m3, much lower transportation costs, and more simple and convenient. Research results for the enterprise to solve the high cost of transportation of raw materials, high moisture content and intolerance storage, use and other issues stagger the time to provide a reference.Conducted with banana stalks and sugar cane bagasse as raw material to produce cellulosic ethanol test results showed that:the steam content of each component materials have a greater change before and after the blast. After blasting, banana stalks and sugarcane bagasse hemicellulose content have a greater degree of decline, cellulose and lignin have improved to some extent. The results show that one ton of ethanol production in the banana stalks and pure ethanol production bagasse were182kg and172kg, biogas production were about100m3,90m3, equivalent to the production of one ton of ethanol each, respectively, require5.46tons and5.81tons of banana stalk bagasse, while its gas production amount of approximately546m3and523m3. Ecological and economic benefits of social analysis showed that for every ton of cellulosic ethanol, using banana stalks and sugar cane bagasse as raw material profits were602.4yuan and778.7yuan; same time, this method has great social and ecological value, not only can improve resource use efficiency, and can effectively alleviate the country’s resources to alleviate the pressure on the fabric to achieve sustainable development of agriculture.
