| With the fast development of China’s automobile industry and the continuous improvement of people’s consumption level, the demand for cars is increasing gradually, but scrapped automobile recycling problems caused increasingly serious, using pendulum crusher to get metallic materials from scrapped cars is an important means.On the basis of previous studies, the deformation behavior of the scrapped car metal cover in the crushing process were studied in depth, and this paper in theory revealed the power consumption behind the deformation behavior of the metal sheet cover. This provides a theoretical basis for the future development of the high-efficient and low-consumption recycling equipment.The experimental material for this paper is taken from scrapped automobiles metal cover sheet, because the metal brand is difficult to query, and it is also difficult to know the mechanical performance parameters. Therefore, we choose the same part of the same kind of brand of metal cover sheet for the tensile test to obtain the basic parameters of the mechanical properties of the materials, and it provides the data basis for subsequent experiments and theoretical research. In addition, by the observation of the tensile fracture with the use of modern means of observation - SEM, we can analyze and speculate its fracture reason.It produces a variety of complex elastic-plastic deformation behavior in the recovery of scrapped cars, through the analysis of the principle of the pendulum crusher, we can found the process of recycling scrapped cars consists of the impact stage of crushing metal hammer and the tearing stage of the hammer body. In order to further study of metal deformation behavior, we can design two experiments including impact and tearing, to further study the deformation behavior of the sheet metal in crushing process in stages. In the impact experiment, a metal plate in contact with the broken hammer first produced locally deformed depression, then followed by the whole horizontal and vertical bending until the stress yield, the breakdown sheet is curved to form a puncture. In the tearing test, the sheet metal prefabricated puncture homemade tearing at the edges of the tool contacts the local buckling occurred, accompanied around the hole crack initiation, unstable propagation, and thus generate overall horizontal and vertical bending, piercing partial curved edge layered phenomenon hole with cracks, with the further development of bending and fracture, the chunks of metal was torn off on the mother body of specimens.By the analysis of the energy consumption in the crushing process, we found the acting by foreign carrier in the process of crushing impact and tearing are mainly consumed by elastic-plastic bending deformation of metal cover sheet and fracture; the bending deformation of sheet metal model is simplified, by calculating, a variety of elastic-plastic bending work done by the metal sheet. According to the energy conservation law and the calculated results, it shows that the most of the energy is used for the elastic-plastic deformation of the metal in the impact process, and the most of the energy is used for the metal fracture.By the help of the nonlinear analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, we can make a simulation of the crushing impact with different count weight and tearing tests with different tearing speeds, obtain its impact on the metal sheet, confirmed that it produces overall horizontal and vertical deformation behavior, local depression and stacking bending. The principles and phenomenon of the deformation laid a theoretical foundation for the subsequent recycling scrapped car equipment. |
