Resource problem has become a serious problem with the development of economy, and so is mineral resource. To ensure the extraction of metal from its existing mineral resource is very important. In order to guarantee the safety and efficiency of the hydrometallurgy production system, online-process monitoring and fault diagnosis is very important. This thesis is based on hydrometallurgy production process, of which process monitoring is deeply researched.This research has designed and investigated a web-based hydrometallurgy production process. The software includes four main function:data flow, data storage, data operations and data display. The software has user-based data management, network distribution, uniform data interface and other new features, using Socket programming, multithreading, Ado.net, GDI+, Matlab&.Net and other key technologies. The experimental platform makes the software suitable for practical application of advanced theoretical methods on the hydrometallurgy production process. Meanwhile, it also helps junior researchers learn the classical theory.This thesis is based on the PCA of hydrometallurgy production process applied in the hardware-in-loop simulation platform. Firstly, we analyze hydrometallurgy production process thoroughly, adopting PCA as the technique to monitor production process, detecting unusual operating conditions and finding out the abnormal variables by analyzing the process deeply. The results validating hardware-in-loop simulation platform are effective.
