In recent years, with the rapid development of green tire industry, high performance of tread rubber has been paid more and more attention, has become a problem which needs to be solved in the automotive industry. Tread rubber wet-skid resistance, wear resistance, rolling resistance restricts the safety of moving and tread life of automotive, so many researchers working on Synthesis the rubber which can meet or balance these three properties. Star shaped solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (S-SSBR) as the coupling structure itself, decreasing the molecular chain segment in theory by 1/2, so it can effectively reduce the sizing hysteresis loss and friction, so as to reduce the rolling resistance of rubber material, but due to the large amount of rubber molecules, the narrow molecular weight distribution, the rubber has difficult processing.The first part of this thesis addition of environment-friendly aromatic oil to improve the processing performance of S-SSBR compound. The effect of oil process technology, oil content, carbon/silica on the properties of ESBR and S-SSBR were studied. It was founded that adding 30phr carbon black formed a certain compoud, then add the environment-friendly aromatic oil V700, could improve the processing properties of S-SSBR.30phr environment friendly aromatic oil filled rubber material with good comprehensive properties. Compared 30phr oil extendrd S-SSBE with ESBR, the wet skid resistance improved by 19%, and the rolling resistance decreased by 7.6%. Solid oil extended S-SSBR has the similar comprehensive properties to the solution oil extended JH6270 rubber. Oil extended ESBR and S-SSBR with good comprehensive properties in the carbon/silica=35/35 can be used for green tire tread rubber.In the second part, effects of different ratio on processing properties, mechanical properties and of carbon/silica on rubber mechanical properties of S-SSBR/IR were studied. It was founded that with the high wear resistance and low rolling resistance, adding 20phr IR can effectively improve the processing performance of S-SSBR. IR plays theinternal plasticization role in S-SSBR/IR blends. S-SSBR/IR with good comprehensive properties in the carbon/silica=20/30.In the third part, Multi-functional group organic lithium initiator of independent research and development was used to synthetize coupled SSBR. Results showed that increasing the vinyl content, can effectively increase the wet skid resistance, increase the coupling degree can reduce the heat and rolling resistance of rubber.In the last part, effect of RA450, B910, B920 activators on modification of waste rubber powder and activation mechanism were sudied. After the RA450 modification, with the increase of activation temperature and time, the crosslink density decreased gradually. The activation mechanism of RA450 used as the activator is pyrolysis. Below 140℃, weak crosslink bond in the molecular chain may be fracture, at the temperature of 180℃, C=C bond in main chain broken. With the increase of activator dosage of B910 and B920, the crosslink density of activated waste rubber powder increased. B-910 and B920 were used as the rubber powder activator may occurred two times vulcanization of waste rubber powder because of Oxygen groups in fatty acid complex. The mechanical properties improved slightly while activated waste rubber powder is added to the ESBR.The effect of activated waster rubber powder and biological solid desulfurization powder on comprehensive properties of ESBR is similar.
