| Based on the investigation of the shaping technologies of the present domestic several C2 hydrogenation catalyst carrier, a kind of twin-screw extruder with automatic grain cutting device used for forming of C2 hydrogenation catalyst have been developed by ourselves. The extruder, with the screw diameter of 80mm, the ratio of 3 with length to diameter and helix Angle of 40°, has six different extruding head made of PTEF in its C area, and the extruded grain distribution is located by far infrared ray, Al2O3 strips extruded are cut evenly by stepper motor and then the strips cut are delivered with the differential rubber belt and finally broken into the grains by the pulse compressed air. The continuous feed and continuous production of C2 catalyst carrier have been realized with the extruder developed by means of improving production process conditions.In the process of carrier preparation, the effects of kneading and extruding conditions including kneading time, ratio of powder to water and pore-forming agent on pore volume, pore diameter, bulk density and mechanical strength of carrier are investigated in detail. The experimental results indicates that under certain conditions, kneading time has obvious influence on density and strength of the carrier, and ratio of water to powder and pore-forming agent have also effects on strength and bulk density of the carrier. The results also show that the pore-forming agent with lower molecular weight has the evidence against improving specific area and pore volume of the carrier. And eventually the optimal carrier ingredient and preparation conditions for C2 catalyst carrier forming in the extruder are obtained.The drying process of C2 hydrogenation catalyst wet grain is developed and the external factors of influencing carrier properties are analyzed, and finally a set of new production process of C2 hydrogenation catalyst carrier. |
