At present in the industrial production of iron and steel smelting industry involves numerous, with what method can make accurate measurement of molten steel temperature is a hot theory of continuous exploration and research. The current iron and steel smelting process mostly uses traditional the thermocouple as a tool to measure the temperature of molten steel. In order to explore the effective method of temperature measurement model, according to the principle of heat radiation, the temperature detection system is designed based on infrared thermal imaging.Infrared thermal image of molten steel temperature measurement is studied based on the theory of thermal radiation law and colorimetric temperature measurement technology. Measurement error is controlled in 1%.In order to make the liquid steel temperature measurement error is smaller, colorimetric temperature measurement band selection is needed, and select the infrared filter appropriate, and provided more accurate data for the infrared thermal imaging temperature measurement system.Infrared CCD camera gets the images and tranmits to the computer.Through the characteristic signal extracted computer,and then calculate and analysis the feature data, finally achieve the purpose of accurate temperature measurement.In the aspect of image processing, Harr wavelet function is used to image analysis, such as the gray, decomposition, denoising, reconstruction and other processing steps. Most the useless factors of the images is removed by wavelet analysis method, and made the characteristic value much more prominent, and provided a reliable guarantee for the data extraction temperature measurement system.Proved by the experiment, the infrared thermal imaging system can achieve accurate measurement of molten steel temperature in the furnace and reappear the real surface of molten pool temperature field by the method of non-contact type. This method meets the requirement of the measurement precision and the design, and make up for the lack of traditional thermocouple temperature measurement, and has strong practicability and popularization value.
