In the iron and steel smelting industry, the control of the temperature of the molten steel directly reflects the development level of the steelmaking process control. The measurement and control of molten steel temperature in tundish is of great importance, because it directly affects the quality and the solidification position of the continuous casting slab. Real-time and precise monitoring of the temperature of the molten steel is needed.This thesis is based on the infrared radiation temperature measurement theory and the colorimetric temperature measurement theory. A signal processor is designed and made to realize the dynamic and accurate measurement of the molten steel's temperature. The main work of the thesis is:(1) Through the analysis and calculation of the radiation temperature measurement theory, the colorimetric temperature measurement equation is got. Several kinds of temperature measurement methods are compared with the colorimetric temperature measurement theory.(2) Two current signal generators are designed and made to simulate the output of the current from the photoelectric detector. Based on the Si signal processor, an InGaAs signal processor in the same gears and temperature is made. Two signal processors are made to simulate the current signal from the photoelectric detector and the current is taken as the input source to the detection circuit.(3) A signal detection circuit is designed and made to acquire and process the current signal from the signal processor and a display circuit is designed and made to realize the liquid crystal display and storage of the data measured.(4) The wireless data transmission is realized. In traditional ways of GPRS transmission, one needs to get the IP address of the remote PC every time it restarts to send data because the IP address of the remote PC is not fixed, therefore the workload is too big. The peanut shells DNS software is used in this design. By the approach of "binding" a fixed domain name with the dynamic IP, the problem is solved.(5) Through the analysis and process of the data from the one-color signal processor and the colorimetric signal processor, the conclusion that the colorimetric temperature measurement method is of high accuracy and has better anti-interference ability than one-color temperature measurement method is drawn.Through the overall circuit design and the debugging and operation of the system, the main functions of each part are achieved. Finally, the work of this steel signal processor system is steady and of relatively perfect function which can basically meet the real needs and can measure the real-time temperature of the molten steel.
