Full hydraulic rock drill as a kind of excellent performance and high efficiency of drilling equipment is widely used in the mine production. With the development of science and technology, it applied the more advanced technology. The development and present situation of full hydraulic rock drill is grasped, the model and technical index is mastered, the gap between production and manufacturing of full hydraulic rock drill at home and abroad is to summarize through the prophase research. The rock drill that The paper described adopts foreign advanced hydraulic technology and imported hydraulic components. The rotary drill adopts foreign advanced hydraulic technology and hydraulic components, some of the advanced design concepts are put into the rotary drill, the main hydraulic system belongs to the new type of hydraulic system in the country.To determine the rock drill pipe axial force and rotary torque based on the drill string mechanics analysis and stress analysis of rock drill, which provides the reference for the design of rotary and pressurized hydraulic system. By determining the parameters, the hydraulic system of rock drill is calculated and the components are selected. Rotational hydraulic system, drill pipe pressure hydraulic system and drive hydraulic system is designed. Highlighted the rotary pressure limiting valve design and drill pipe pressure system limiting scheme, limit pipe torque and axial force and avoid the damage of drill pipe. At the same time, energy recovery scheme is proposed in drag conditions, the mechanical energy can be recovered when the rotary drill is in the static hydraulic braking condition.The simulation research was carried out on the rotary system drill pipe pressure system and braking system. The mathematical model of the key components that is studied and the whole system are established. The simulation model is established based on the mathematical model. Then the simulation analysis was carried out on rotary pressure limiting valve group, drill pipe pressure system pressure limiting scheme, drag system and energy recovery system. Verify their rationality.to measure the performance of the rotation system, drill pipe pressure system and the walking system, and to explore the feasibility of braking energy recovery.The real vehicle for debugging, analysis of collected test data, then the test data are compared with the simulation data. Performance of rotary pressure limiting valve group is analyzed, which verify whether rotary pressure limiting valve group can restrict the drill stem torque or not. Study the feasibility of pressure limiting scheme in the drill pipe pressure system,to prove the pressure limiting schemes proposed meet the requirements of drill pipe pressure limiting, and validate the biggest driving force in the process whether meet the design requirements or not.
