In order to meet the needs of rapid economic development, China is rapidly making rail transportation system speed higher and load heavier. Rail as the infrastructure of rail transportation system, its dimensional accuracy, performance and strength is an important factor in the speed of the railway.Currently, the research of rail universal rolling process focused on equipment modification and process improvement, and the theoretical studiy mainly rely on of finite element software or experiments, which is slowly to improve rail performance. With the universal rail rolling technology and the rapid development of technology, automation and control, a precise mathematical model is becoming increasingly important. This paper target on three-dimensional geometric model of simplified rail, study width exhibition rules, neutral line equation and unit pressure distribution of the rail head and the rail base, give formula to calculate the rail head and rail base deformation zone unit pressure accuratly.Firstly, use three-dimensional geometric model of the rail simplified to derive the formula for the area of the various parts of the three-dimensional deformation zone. According to the equal to the second flow principle deduced rub rolling zone of three-dimensional neutral line equation. Under different combinations of pressure coefficient, use MATLAB graphics programming software to analysis changes of the neutral position.Secondly, make the deformation zone of rail head and rail base into a number of discrete micro cell body,analyse the equilibrium conditions of Micro unit body, establish three-dimensional approximately balanced differential equation and derive the unit pressure distribution formula of rail head and rail base. Based on this analysis, using MATLAB programming software analyse the influence of pressure on the unit under the influence of different combinations of pressure coefficient.Finally, the three-dimensional model of rolled piece and roller is created using 3D modeling software Pro/ENGINEER, and then the model is imported into finite element analysis software DEFORM-3D, thus the simulation model of rail universal rolling coupled thermal is established, so the unit pressure distribution of the deformation zone in rail head and rail baseis obtained after simulation.The theoretical calculation results and rolling simulation results are similar by comparison, thus the rail head and rail base deformation zone unit pressure can be predicted by the results.
