Bending machine is one of the eight forging machines,It is the mechanical equipment which can make sheet metal into the cone, cylinder, box and other various kinds of curved surface body. It is widely used in boiler, coal mine, ship building, pipeline transportation, machinery manufacturing and other industries.With the continuous development and progress of all walks of life, new requirements are put forward for rolling equipment and technology.Based on the mechanical model of four point bending, This paper presents a new bending method——symmetric four-roller plate bending method. The basic structure and working principle of symmetric four-roller plate bending machine are first described in this paper. Introduces the forming process and the range of the process parameters of bending machine. Based on elastic-plastic bending theory, the plane section assumption, the neutral layer coincidence assumption, uniaxial stress and bilinear hardending model assumption, The bending moment and the relationship between pre and post radius of curvature were obtained. By the geometric relationship and elastic springback formula deduced down the relation between the punch travel and finally radius of curvature. Analysis the conditions need to be met for once roller forming. Finally through the VB interface programming calculation.In this paper, the nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS is adopted to rolling forming modeling analysis and the influence of different algorithms, element type and the grid number on the accuracy of circle rolling simulation was compared. Finding a proper rolling process route, Analysis of the relative error and the main influence factors of theoretical derivation and numerical simulation, determine the processing scope of rolling machine. At the same time, analysis the punch radius, die radius, punch span, die span, coefficient of friction and thickness of the different factors, finds out the effects of all the factors have on the final radius after springback. Finally, a testing device was designed for physicial verification test, and the experimental results were analyzed, through the numerical simulation and experimental study on the fully demonstrated the feasibility of the plate bending process method, finally summarizes its characteristics.The advantages of this method include the high forming precision, the small remaining edge, the high production efficiency, the simple equipment structure, Easy to realize automatic and intelligent control. The propose of the method are helpful to the development of bending quality and rolling technology.
