The object of the thesis is the monitoring and control system of rheological workstation. Meet the monitoring and control system functions to achieve integration and control, and a substantial increase in performance measurement and control, is a major work of this thesis.Based on the functional requirements and control system analysis, comparing existing programs, introduce new monitoring and control system design. Measurement and control system based on Ether CAT communication protocol. Ether CAT is an open real-time Ethernet protocol. System mainly uses Beckhoff Ether CAT module hardware. Twin CAT write procedures to achieve a variety of electrical control and multi-task management. Lab VIEW complete PC software interface design and data analysis module development. At the same time, realize the communication between the Twin CAT and Lab VIEW.This paper introduces the realization methods of communication between Lab VIEW and Twin CAT. Twin CAT implements serial communication with electronic balance. Twin CAT PLC reads the string variable in Lab VIEW and then read out the material in electronic balance scale weight values. Using the Twin CAT double array circular buffer reads vibration signal. In Lab VIEW, read the array variable Twin CAT thus achieving high-speed continuous vibration signal acquisition. In Twin CAT, multitasking programming design method utilizes the CPU controller reasonable and meets the high requirements of real-time monitoring and control systems. Based on Lab VIEW platform developed user-friendly, full-featured PC software and control systems. The software includes data collection, curve display, automatic calculation and report generation module. Finally, the authors test for measurement and control systems. The test results demonstrate the measurement and control system reaches the set of technical indicators. And the Ether CAT-based systems are successful programs. The thesis completed the expected target.
