In recent years, food safety incidents constantly break out in our country, which caused a bad influence on the society. Food traceability is closely related to people’s interests, which relates to food safety and social stability. Therefore, the meaning of food traceability using high-tech methods is very great.The topic comes from myself project "The research and application of pork traceability system based on RFID ". It uses radio frequency identification(RFID) technology, which is the core networking technology, to record and track on food. It controls real-time monitoring on food circulation information and effectively prevents the illegal food from flowing into the market. It can protect the people’s life safety. It also can reduce the working intensity of management staff. Finally, food safety regulatory information will be achieved.Heterogeneous data of food traceability system is analyzed and researched in this paper. And heterogeneous data processing algorithm based on adaptive template is proposed. Under the guidance of this algorithm, the heterogeneous data processing and integration are realized through the design of embedded RFID middleware. It can not only work both online and backend servers, but also work alone offline when we meet some network faults. It is highly practical.The core hardware of the middleware selects the AT91SAM9260 processor chip based on ARM-core. Author achieves the design of the reader interface, the main control module and all external expansion interfaces, and designs main program software, the driver software of the device, and achieves system combined adjustment. Author completes all the development work for a practical RFID middleware. After the actual trial, the middleware performance has achieved the design requirements of the system. The results of this paper have important significance for specific food traceability application.
