The paper reports the properties and existing problems of the oil in water drilling fluids. According to the geologic properties of Daqing oil area and the special demand of drilling fluids in underbalenced drilling, the compound emulsifying agent with good antitemperature properties and emulsion abilities Is selected in terms of the assessment of drilling fluids treating agent. The antihightemperature oil in water drilling fluids is based on it above and is successfully applied to the Songshen NO.101 well and Fangsben NO.~01 well. The laboratory experiment and the filed expeliment verify the kind of drilling fluids is up to 1600C which accomplishes the breakthrough of antitemperature 120~C in oil in water drilling fluids all over the country. On the site the drilling fluids has better rheological properties, better tmulsion stability and lower filter loss. It accomplishes the drilling in lower dentisity(0.9OgIcm3) and well diameter. At the same tirpe , the oil in water drilling fluids is researched about the rheolog~cal pattern . According to the established high shear viscosity of the drilling fluids is predicted on the bottom of the well . The research ~tlso renovates the assessment method . The research belongs to the scientific-research project of the bureau level in Daqing petroleum administractive bureau.
