Along with the increase of the energy demand in the world and the development of drilling technology, the emergences of deep well, ultra deep well, directional well, horizontal well and high angle hole make the difficulty for cement job more and more big.The factors that affect the cement job quality are a lot, the drilling fluid system is the one of the important factors to affect the cement job quality and the cement homework success or failure. The different drilling fluid type and system, the different treating agent composition, the different drilling fluid property is different to the influence degree of the cement job quality.Theoretically, from the angle of the drilling engineering, analyzed to the request of the drilling fluid. From the angle of the cement job, discussed the influence of drilling fluid type and property on the displacement efficiency and log interpretation accuracy. Summarized the conditions in drilling fluid that satisfy the demands of the drilling engineering, and advance again cement job quality.The experiment method that is established to evaluate cementation quality of the I and II interfaces in cement job. According to large number of experiments, examined the influence of the oil base drilling fluids system and its main compositions on the shear cementing strength of the I and II interfaces in cement job, and the influences on the gel strength, initial setting time, final setting time of cement slurry and the compressive strength of the cement stone. To the water base drilling fluids, selected three kinds of systems, examined the effect of the rheological property, the water loss property, wall-cake-building characteristics and lubricity on the cementing strength of the II interface in three kinds of circumstances that are static filtration, dynamic filtration and physics clearing mud cake. Used the HTHP artificial rock filtration device by oneself to study the effect of the wettability of the drilling fluids and the thickness of mud cake on cementation quality, and to do the experiments about the confecting and the evaluation of flushing fluid.Finally, put forward the drilling fluids technology countermeasure for advancing cement job quality. It provided scientific basis on the drilling fluids aspect for from now on further advancing cement job quality.
