The copolymerization of ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) catalyzed by double metal cyanide complex(DMC) was carried out, in the presence of a allyl alcohol as initiator .The characters of copolymerization were investigated. The effects of a serials of influence factors on hydrosilation have been discussed.DMC based on Zn3[Co(CN)6]2-aZnCl2-bH2O-cL were prepared. The effects ofstructure, coordination agent and composition of catalyst on catalyst activity were studied. It revealed that the activity of DMC is much better than that of KOH. The polymer yield is about 1 Okg/gcat under the experiment condition.The molecular weight of copolymer can easily be adjusted and calculated by changing the ratio of monomer to initiator, which is coincident with that obtained by GPC.The microstructure of copolymer was characterized with NMR and IR, which revealed that the copolymer has a random distribution of composition.The process of purifying polyether was carried out with KOH and HsPC^ as disposal agent and diatomite as absorbent, the remain concentration of metal ion is less than 20ppm.The reaction time varied with the amount of catalyst. The optimal temperature of the reaction was HO'Cfor 4~8h, and the optimal amount of catalyst is in the-range of 0.02~0.03g in 500ml reactor.The effects of the presence of terminal hydroxyl, catalyst concentration, temperature and hydrogen content on the hydrosilation were examined. The influence of the structure of polyorganosiloxane graft polyether on surface tension of water was investigated too. It was found that the presence of terminal hydroxyl in hydrosilation can be ignored. The optimal conditions of the graft reaction are: 100?癈 for 7h, bulk polymerization, feeding polyorganosiloxane. Compared with L-580, a kind of surfactant, the surface tension and turbid point of polyorganosiloxane* graft polymer can be adjusted respectively.
