Reconfigurable Deep Hole Machine Tool Design Study

This paper expatiates on the use of reconfigurable theory in the manufacturing system and indicates that RMS (Reconfigurable Manufacturing System) is the only system that can satisfy client and magnitude production and is the direction of manufacturing development in the 21st century. Reconfigurable machine tools are the foundation of RMS, and studying and developing it have much academic and practical importance. In this article, coupled with illustration of developing advanced tools drilling deep hole, reconfigure of tools drilling deep hole is explored and the notion of reconfiguring tools drilling deep hole is presented.
