| As a new technology of producing high quality coating, HVOF is putted in an important position by technologist all over the world. After more 20 years of development, people saw certain achievement. Although the properties of HOVF coating is excellent, its making cost is too high to be used widely because of using expensive mixing gas of C3H8, H2 and clear oxygen. Under this circumstances, HVAF, using kerosene as fuel, press air as chamber-supporting gas, was developed. The technology overcomes the shortcoming of HVOF. HVAF has lower expense than HVOF. In our country, HVAF is still at the beginning stage. Owing to supplying plenty of air, the temperature of supersonic flame is low. So spray materials cannot be heated and accelerated well, as a result, coating quality is poor. The reasons that cause this case mainly is that kerosene is not atomize red well and cannot mix well with air. A air-blast atomizer with excellent properties is a key ways of solving this problem. Therefore, the article first discusses key components of HVAF spray gun, and designs it. Then on the basic of this design, HVAF air-blast atomizer is considered and discussed. Finally, the spraying experiment of HVAF air-blast atomizer designed was done and received a satisfied result. |
