Application of new loom is the direction in the field of textile machines .It is also the tendency of weaving technology. In the circumstances of nowadays, electrical control system determine the capability of loom. Exploitation of loom computer control system is very important to our national textile industry. This thesis give a systemic expound of the electronic dobby and electronic weft-selecting controller of rapier loom microcomputer control system, what's more, this thesis expounds the design of power supply of the whole digital system.Dobby and weft-selecting controller afford the ability of supervising the loom's running state, electric dobby and electric weft-selecting controlling, harmonizing each controller's work. It is loom microcomputer controlling system's center part. I utilized Z84C15 as the center-processing unit. I accomplished controller's complex memorizer system design and sequence analyse. I designed some of the I/O port circuit, resolved the communication problem of each controller. I did application research on the problem of system interferring and stability, and adopted corresponded measures. The controller can overcome the disadvantage coining with the mechanical control such as the inconvenience of textile pattern modification, noise pollution, and the system instability. It reduced the loom mechanism greatly.
