The wastewater treatment of the rubber-regeneration has been studied in this project. The main contents of this project conclude the follows aspects:1. To study and contrast several wastewater-treated methods of the rubber-regeneration in the lab;2. The preliminary industrial test research of the technology using to treat the wastewater;3. Design research of the equipments to treat the rubber-regeneration wastewater of the factory. In the lab experiments, purification efficiency of rubber particles, coagulants, oxidants and coal slays had been invested and compared for the wastewater treatment of the rubber-regeneration. Among these, the coal slay was confirmed the best treated-medium and the coal slay filtration method was determined the best method. The test applied to one Rubber-regeneration Factory in Kunming indicated that using the method of the "coal slays filtration" can make the CODcr concentration in the outlet water reduce to 49.9mg/L, which had met the first level of China National Discharge Standard of Sewage(GB8978-1996) ( The removal efficiency of CODcr:99. 33%, pH: 6.59-9.0, the light absorbance: 0.003~0.005A, the content of petroleum residue: 19. 5~22. 5mg/L).It is cheap to use the coal slay for the treatment of the wastewater of rubber-regeneration. There are 5000-ton rubber-regeneration products per year produced in one Rubber-regeneration Factory in Kunming. And the cost required to treat this kind of wastewater will occupy 0.022% of the value of 1.0-ton rubber products. The rubber-regeneration factories in China are mostly middle-factory or small factory. The results of this project will have a wide applied market.
