The article is mainly about the study on the feasibility and mechanism of the treatment with ultrasound enhancement ozonization to organic wastewater. The research is about two parts, ozonization and ultrasound enhancement ozonization to degrade wastewater with phenol of high concentration. The effects of temperature, the ozone inflow, pH value, temperature, agitation, the initial waste water concentration and the reaction time has been studied. The mechanisms and the reaction kinetics of the two ways have been explored and contrasted .The main conclusions as follows.I . The study on the ozonization1.The ozone inflow has some effect on the removal efficiency of COD(Chemical Oxygen Demand) that will be increased with the increasing of the ozone inflow when the inflow is low. However the removal efficiency of COD of phenol solution will not varied with the change of the ozone inflow when the inflow reach a certain quality.2.The reaction temperature have little effect on ozonization. The removal efficiency of COD of phenol will be the biggest when the temperature reach 20℃ in the research range 10℃ to 40℃.3.The initial pH value has an important effect on ozonization. There has a best pH value range. The removal efficiency of COD of phenol will be the biggest when the pH value is equal to about 11 or 12.4.In some degree, the removal efficiency of COD can be improved by agitation, but the effect is not obviously.5.Reaction time have an obvious effect on the efficiency of ozonization. The efficiency of COD of phenol will be improved by increasing reaction time. The efficiency of COD of phenol will be equal to 93 percent after 9 hours' reaction. But the degradation by ozonization cannot be completely.6.The temperature doesn't change fundamentally during thereaction. The pH value of wastewater is lowered from 6.3 to 3.1 after 4 hours' reaction.7.The initial concentration of phenol solution has effect ozonization. The COD removal efficiency decreased with increasing of the initial concentration.8.The relation between-logarithm of Co to C (In C0/C) and reaction time is linear, which shows that the kinetics of phenol reaction is pseudo-first order. The rate constant of high concentration is smaller than that of the lower concentration and it degrade more slowly.II .The study on the ultrasound enhancement ozonization1.The ozone inflow has some effect on the removal efficiency of COD that will be increased with the increasing of the ozone inflow when the inflow is low. However the removal efficiency of COD of phenol will not varied with the change of the ozone inflow when the rate of ozone reach 0.1m3/h .2.The initial pH value has an important effect on ultrasound enhancement ozonization. The removal efficiency of COD is increased as the initial pH value increased when the initial pH value is lower than 11. While the removal efficiency of COD is decreased as the initial pH value increased when the initial pH value is more than 11.3.The initial concentration of phenol solution has effect on the ultrasound enhancement ozonization. The COD removal efficiency decreased with increasing of the initial concentration.4.The temperature is continuously increased as the reaction processed, the temperature rose 28'C in 4 hours' reaction. While the change of pH value is similar to ozonization.5.There is no effect on the removal efficiency of COD of high concentration phenol solution when the ultrasound washer used alone(the frequency is 50kHz and the power is 120w).6.The removal efficiency of COD of phenol solution is contrastedon ozonization and ultrasound enhancement ozonization. It is shows that the degradation reaction is more quickly and more completely when the ultrasound is added. The removal efficiency of COD(initial COD is 4000mg/L) can be equal 100 percent after 14 hours reaction in ultrasound enhancement ozonization.7.The ultrasound degradation and ozonization degradation can enhance each other.8.The relation between logarithm of Co to C (In C0/C) and reaction time is linear,...
