| The properties of strong-acid cation-exchange resin modified by mercaptan for the preparation of bisphenol-A are studied in this article. It discusses the activity and selectivity of the catalyst from the aspects of the framework of resins, the modification of alkyl mercaptoamine and the using condition. It discusses the stability of the catalyst from the aspects of the using temperature, the effect of impurity in the raw material and the outgrowth and the way of placed. This article radicates the types, structure, modifying ways and the using requirements for the basic resin and mercaptan promoter used in the preparation of bisphenol-A. According to these requirements, the catalysts have been produced, and have been applied in the preparation ten thousand bisphenol-A per year. If the catalyst resulted from the continuous experiment is used in preparation of bisphenol-A,the yield of BPA can reach 99.72% and the selectivity can reach 95.40% .And after six month continuous experiment, the speed of the activity fall is 23.2%,the speed of the selectivity fall is 1.2%.This provides the foundation on studying high property catalysts in the preparation of BPA. |
