FGD(Flue Gas Desulfurization) is only cosmically commercial desulfuration type in the world. It is dominating technology measure to control acid rain and sulfur dioxide pollution. On the basis of a great number of international and national references about flue gas desulfurization , this paper presents a process called Limestone Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization which is suitable for experiment.Limestone wet gas desulfurization ( WFGD ) technology with high desulfurization efficiency is being applied widely for coal-fired Power Plant all over the world. As to pushing wet desulfurization to be developed in our country , and aiming actuality of development of domestic and overseas FGD and the situation of our country, the paper discussed the principles and process at the wet limestone-gypsum desulfurization system in coal-burning power plant, and combining with the real running of the system, the thesis put emphasis on the affection of these factors such as, rate at liquid and gas, distributing at liquid and gas, PH value, stay-time, letting off at the system, decrease at pressure, and so on . The paper analyses the principal affection factors of WFGD technology, then comes to the conclusion that the control of serosity pH value of absorption tower is the most important determinant of affecting desulphurization efficiency. The best range of pH value is 5. 2~5. 7. The paper suggests establish the lab assistant of wet limestone-gypsum desulphurization by studying the character of the system. It designs the process flow of system, and gets the principal design parameters. When the quantity of the stimulant ingoing gas is 0.28~0.56m3/s (1000m3/h~ 2000m3/h) , the range of temperature is from 90℃ to 100℃, the molar proportion between calcium and sulfur is less than 1.05, the desulphurization efficiency reaches 98%, the temperature of the gas exhaust is 80~90°C, and the limestone serosity concentration between 28% and 32% , the primary technical dimensions of the absorption tower, which is the pivotal equipment of system, are that the diameter is 0.5m and the high is 9.5m.
