Horizontal well has been used to oil and gas field development and enhancing oilrecovery for a long time since this technology was put forward in 1928 and was usedwidely in the 1940's.In this paper ,based on mass study on internal and overseasliterature. the advantage and disadvantage was analyzed in oil and gas fielddevelopment .Mainly oil fields used horizontal was studied .the three dimensionproduction formula was come up with after analyzing two dimension formula .Coningprinciple was studied the critical rate formula was born .using DaQing oil wellscalculate the production formula .the mainly contents of this paper is as follows:1. Analysis of the two dimension Joshi method, therefore, this method is limited whenused to oilfield. Joshi formula is review by different method2. Analysis of production method from the point of production engineering introducingCheng method, Bendaklia method and Goode method.3. Three dimension mathematics model is established .Edge water driving and bottomwater driving formula in three dimension direction are put forward. The affection ofdifferent parameters (length, depth isotropic, and eccentricity) to productivity arestudied.4. The long term stability production of horizontal well is the balance between gravityand viscidity potential.5. Construction mathematics model, given inter and out boundary condition, criticalrate is producing .The higher position the better productivity to gas reservoir .Thecritical rate is direct ratio to depth and length of horizontal well.6. Using Visual Basic compiling program to calculate productivity, using DaQing wellscalculate the productivity. The result shows a much better effect.7. The result show three dimension productivity formula can be used to the calculationof horizontal well.
