Lianyuan Steel Coke Oven Heating Intelligent Control Strategies And Applied Research, Of The Combustion Process

Coke is the primary raw material and fuel in industries of metallurgy, machine and chemistry. The control of the flue temperature is of fundamental significance for improving the quality of coke, reducing energy sources consuming and decreasing air pollution.By deeply analyzing the technics of heating process for coke oven, the structure including optimal setting model of the flue temperature, soft-sensing model the flue temperature and optimal control model of the flue temperature is build. On the base of this, intelligent control strategy of flu temperature is presented.Because of strong non-linear, large time-delay and other complexities of heating process for coke oven, a accurate mathematic model between flue temperature and gas flue or pressure. It is very difficult to get the goal with classical control methods. So, the fuzzy-expert control strategy is presented to solve the optimal control problem of temperature of heating process for coke oven.The temperature controller based on fuzzy-expert control strategy has two loops, which are temperature loop and pressure loop. According the error between the temperature get through soft-sensing model and standard flue temperature, fuzzy-expert control strategy is used to adjust the setting of gas flue. In the same time, the air is regulated to guarantee that the gas can burn fully. So, the temperature loop is formed. Because the quantities of gas and air must hold steady to control the stabilization of flue temperature, the pressure control loop is structured to maintain the quantities of gas and air.In this paper, the intelligent control of flue temperature is implemented on the platform of WinCC control system with VC and the idea of object oriented is fully used in programming.The intelligent control based on fuzzy-expert strategy is used in the coke plant of Lian Yuan Steel. The validity of this strategy is improved by the running results. The software is stable and reliable, the flue temperature is control validly, the coke quality is improved, the power resources consuming is reduced and great economic profit and socialprofit are ceated.
