In practical application ,steel cord calendaring line equipped with 4-roll calender "S" use maintenance cost excessively high, the system is complex and the conventional control method effect is not ideal. Introduce the fuzzy control and the simulation debugging, proposed the rolling thickness fuzzy control method is effective and the feasibility.The article introduced the periodical controls of the thickness gauge and the correlation analysis about the rolling craft mathematical model, proposed suits the scene practical application plan in fuzzy control. Error and error change is as input variable and thickness as output variable. In the Fuzzy System, the member function is triangle function, the fuzzy reasoning is Mamdani method and antifuzzy is centeriod method . In the off-line, The software Popfuzzy is used to carry on computation and simulatation for the system and adjust to gap in the small errors.In the design, uses the high accuracy air survey sensor, reduced the maintenance work load, to with the calender system connection, the I/O has designed based on SIEMENS STEP7-300 and compile the system PLC procedure. In the actuator control, has used the MOOG valve servo-control mechanism, avoided the disadvantage factor which the control system wide range adjustment roller is apart from brings.
