Large Pre-baked Anode Current Superimposed On The Power Supply Technology Research And Application

Today, most aluminum manufacturers around the world use the salt-digesting smelting method to deoxidize alumina to aluminum. To realize deoxidization process, need a lot of direct current (DC). Therefore, each smelting factory has powerful commutation station to convert the alternating current (AC) to DC. In order to save cost and insure normal operation, smelting factory needs to spend huge amount of investment on complex commutation system to insure power supply. Due to repeated construction and pollution problem, the state ministry department issued documents regarding shut and cease self-baked aluminum series. And during this period, related factories should decrease wastage, save cost, develop deoxidization aluminum industry.During rebuilding process, each factory should make the most of the current equipment, provide a safe and reliable power supply method. And find new power supply scheme to minimum the investment and utilize the existing equipment to supply power safely, steadily and constantly. Main study content:(1)Present a method which can supply power to two separate systems at same time. This application gives a success example in China how to solve the power supply problem when smaller electric cells changed to larger ones.(2)Transformed rectifier fuse cooling system, designed and installed a water-cooling system, caused the fuse temperature reduced approximately 40 °C, reduced expensive accessories consumption.(3)Transformed absorption pressure protective device, adopt a Star Connection method ,cancelled the resistor; resistance wiring connection adopt triangle Connection. Avoid damage to a capacitor, protects normal movements.(4) Transformed original computer control system, the stationary current system adopt PLC network architecture , reliability and stability obtains a very big improvement, and failure rate obviously dropped.(5)After the current superimposition power supply, system harmonic increase causes power factor reduce, the voltage abnormal change increases.
