In the cold rolling mill of Lianyuan iron and steel corporation,ultrafiltration oil removal system is used to handle oil wastewater. In thisprocess, inorganic ceramic ultrafiltration membrane is fouled and hard tobe cleaned by traditional cleaning agent. In order to solve these bigproblems, the development of cleaning agent and its performance studywas carried out.Through exploratory experiments in prophase and signal factorexperiments and considering synthetically the effect of pH value, theheight of foam, rinsing performance and cleaning efficiency of cleaningagent on the cleaning efficiency of formula, the main components and thecontent range of cleaning agent were obtained. It is that LAS: 9~12%,CEMA/AES: 9~12%, NaOH: 40~48%, Na2CO3: 12~17%, Na2SiO3:7~10%, Na3PO4/Zeolite 4A: 10~13%.Through orthogonal experiments and optimization experiments andtaking cleaning efficiency of cleaning agent as inspection testing, threeformulas A, B and C were gained. The cleaning efficiency is 96.17%,96.53% and 90.10% respectively.Industrial experiments were carried out in ultrafiltration units ofLian-steel with cleaning agent A and B. And cleaning base materials werecharacterized by SEM, EDX and contact angle meter for bearingstechniques. The best result of formula was determined to be: LAS: 9%,AES: 9%, NaOH: 46%, Na2CO3: 15%, Na3PO4: 11%, Na2SiO3:10%. Thebest using condition is: cleaning agent concentration 3~5%, temperature323K~333K, cleaning time 20~25min, recycling cleaning agent 6~7times. The industrial application results show that the cleaning agent doesnot only erode ultrafiltration equipments but also accords with standardsof state environmental protection. The performance is superior totraditional alkaline cleaning agents. The effluent water is up to theexpectant targets and in conformity to the standards of the state.The research methods have an important reference value to the researchand development of homogeneous products. The cleaning principle andthe relation of interaction between different surfanctants play theoretical guide role for the formulas of cleaning agent. If the type of oil wastewateris different, the foumulas of cleaning agent is also altered.
