The laboratory-scale and pilotscale experiment on the treatment to synthetic ammoniaindustries wastewater by immobilized bacteria was studied in this paper.The experimentshowed that:(1) Nitrosobacteria can be enriched by all the three kinds of enrichmenttechnique which are mentioned in this paper. The removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen andnitrite accumulation rate can reached up to 80%, 90%, respectively.(2) Denitrifyingbacteria has good denitrifying capability after 15 days' enrichment, and the loading ratecan reach as much as 2.4kgNOx--N/m3·d.(3) The feasible running parameter for thelaboratory-scale experiment on the treatment to synthetic ammonia industries wastewater:DO, 4.5mg/L; T,35℃; HRT, 16h. (4) After 14 days' stability experiment, ammonia--nitrogen removal rate and nitrite accumulation rate of laboratory-scale system can reachup to 87.1%, 80.1%, respectively, and ammonia-nitrogen loading rate reaches 0.40 kgNH4+-N/m3·d or so.(5) The enrichment technique for nitrosobacteria and denitrifyingbacteria ofpilotscale experiment is successful, given that the ammonia—nitrogen removalrate and nitrite accumulation rate for nitrite sludge reach 89.6%, 91.3%, respectively, anddenitrifying loading rate reaches 0.71kgNOx--N/m3·d.(6) The feasible running parameterfor pilotscale system at a influent of 25L/h: DO, 4.5 mg/L; Circulation reflux ratio, 5:1.(7)After 7 days' stability experiment, the removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen, TN, COD andnitrite accumulation rate of pilotscale treatment system can reach up to 92%, 82%, 87%,80% steadily, and the ammonia-nitrogen loading rate is about 0.24 kgNH4+-N/m3·d.Shortcut nitrification-denitrification technology on the treatment to syntheticammonia industries wastewater using immobilized nitrosobacteria+A/O technology isfeasible, and ammonia-nitrogen, COD of the effluent are in accord with《SyntheticAmmonia Industries Wastewater Pollutant Discharge Standard》.
