Due to their vary structures and unique properties,Schiff base and their metal complexes have become one of the focuses on coordination chemistry.They have been used extensively to materia,catalytic,pesticide,medicine and other areas.In this thesis,31 Schiff base ligands,derived from salicylaldehyde,2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol,α-amino acid and amines, and their 62 complexes were synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR,NMR spectra and X-ray single crystal diffraction.34 single crystal structures of typical compounds were determined.The fluorescent properties,magnetic properties,antibascterrial activity and antitumour activity of some compounds were researched.The possible relation between the activity and the structres were also discussed.The dissertation contains the following works.1.25 organotin complexes with the N-salicylidene-α-amino acid derived from salic ylaldehyde andα-amino acid were synthesized and the crystal structures of 11 complexes were determined.The results showed that the ligands both could behave as a tridentate NO2 chelating agent to form the monosomic organotin five-coordinated complexes,and could behave as tetradentate NO3 ligand to form the six coordinative structure with twelve atoms ring by oxygen atom of carbonyl coordinate to near tin atom,which depend on steric.The steric mainly contain the alkyl of tin and R fromα-amino acid.In vitro inhibitory effects of some organotin complexes synthesized on Bcap37 and CoLo205 cells have been measured.The results indicated that theses compounds have certain antitumour activities,in which L-(-)-Ph2Sn(OCOCH(CH3)N=CHC6H3- MeO-6-O-6)and L-(-) -Cy2Sn(OCOCH(i-Pr)N=CHC6H3-MeO-6-O-6)have better antitumour activities than DDP for CoLo205 and Bcap37.The IC50 is 2.69 4±0.69 and 1.02 4±0.10μg/ml which is a good result.The fluorescent properties of some compands were determined,The result shows that both the Schiff base ligand and their organotin complexes could launch strong fluorescent by the weak excited.The main reason may be the system with planar structure and the big conjugate system.2.16 transition metal complexes of the Schiff base derived from 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol and amines weresynthesized and the crystal structures of 11 complexes were determined.The results indicated that this kind of copper(Ⅱ)complexes are four copper complex bridging by O2-or Cl-(CH3COO-),which formed orthorhombic, trigonal or tetrogonal.The Schiff base ligand reacts with nickel chloride,and the octahedron configuration binuclear nickel complexes which take Clor O as the terminal ligand formed.On the other hand a few of octahedron configuration five nuclear nickel polymers bridging by O2- or CH3COO are produced by the Schiff base and nickel acetate.So the influence of R from Schiff base C=N,anions,solvent has been investigated and the results show that all of them could affect the structure of complex greatly.The magnetic properties of some compounds were determined,which shows that between M(Ⅱ)ion exhibit antiferromagnetic interreaction.3.Take NaN3 as the bridging ligand,7 single Mn(Ⅲ)complexes of Schiff base derived from N-salicylidene- amines were synthesized which have not been reported,and the crystal structures of 6 complexes were determined.The magnetic properties of representative compands were determined,The data display that five of them are one-dimensional chaining structures bridging by azide radical EO,by which transmit antiferromagnetic interreaction.But for the N-(substituted salicylidene)- cyclohexylamine,because of the steric effects,the azide ion have not coordinated,received only a single nuclear manganese complex.4.14 azido-bridging transition metal complexes of Schiff base derived from 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol and amines were synthesized and the crystal structures of 6 complexes were determined.It showed that 3 of them is one-dimensional chaining structures bridging by double EE azide ion;The other 3 complexes is trigonal or tetrogonal two nuclear complex,in which the azido ion coordinater as terminal ligand.In of them,the fluorescent properties of zinc-complex were determined,which shows that they could launch strong fluorescent by the weak excited.The main reason may be the system have planar structure and the big conjugate system,and electronic excitation of ion Zn2+.The magnetic properties of some compands were determined,which shows that between M(Ⅱ)ion exhibit antiferromagnetic interreaction.
