In recent years, shortcut nitrification and denitrification is widely studied as a shortcut process to reduce the oxygen consumption during nitrification and improve the velocity of the biological process for nitrogen removal. In this paper,we made shortcut nitrification and denitrification come true and intensified the microorganism by the link of immobilized microorganism and biological nitrification and denitrification.A new kind of porous polymer carriers, active PVF foam, was prepared in this paper. When the content of active carbon in PVF was 4%(whose apparent density was 0.83g/cm3,void ratio was 60%).It can provide habitat to accrete and grow for microorganism. After we get the biological film, the best effect can be gotton under these condition as follow:DO:2.0±0.3mgL,pH:8.0~8.5,temperature at 30℃.Results show that at this condition,90%nitrite accumulation takes place, with 90%of ammonia removal.Shortcut denitrification taking nitrite is effected by many environment factors,as follows: temperature,pH,concentration of nitric nitrogen, variety and concentration of organic carbon source and so on.Results show that the best effect can be got under these condition as follow: the mass concentration of NaNO2 at 1.25 g/L,pH= 8.0~8.5,temperature at 30℃,C/N = 3.2.The nitrite is below 5 mg/L in the water after 6 hours' reaction. For achieving and stabilizing shortcut nitrification and denitrification, application of real time control and condition control are applied in research. The rate of ammonia removal is over 85%,the content of nitrite arrived 162mg/L in effluent water.Through the reaction effect, we can arrives the purpose of shortcut nitrification and denitrification.
