The rapid development of tourism is promoting economic growth,but it also has negative impact on the natural ecological environment and human environment.As the constant study on the theory of sustainable development,the sustainable development of tourism has become the focus. This paper drawing on analysis the eco-tourism development of Tianmushan,from a new perspective to analysis the sustainable development of tourism trends of destination.This paper takes Tianmushan as the research object,many methods are used in this research, such as qualitative and quantitative analyses,field surveys,interview,statistical analysis and so on.On the basis of data and theory,including tourism ecology,statistics,marketing,economics the paper analysis the Tianmushan's tourism ecological footprint from 1998 to 2007.The purposes of this research:①Explained the theory and model of tourism ecological footprint;②Assessment of Tianmushan's tourism ecological sustainable development,and promote the development of tourism;③the significance of Nature' sustainable development,the paper provide a scientific foundation for decision making in the region.The process of the research:①Proposing the question:After analyzing theory of tourism ecological footprint and sustainable development,the author proposes question that how to achieve Tianmushan' ecological sustainable development;②Analyzing the question:Analysis the ecological footprint from six aspects such as:transportion,accommodation,dining,sightseeing,shopping, entertainment;③Solving the problem:Analyzed the development of Tianmushan' ecological tourismMain conclusions of the research:①The average per capita ecological footprint is 0.015330 hm~2, the average per capita ecological carrying capacity of tourism is 0.032547 hm~2,the average ecological surplus per capita is 0.017217 hm~2.But ecological surplus and per capita of Tianmushan were downward from 1998 to 2007,(except 2003).Eco-tourism surplus 629.634953 hm~2 in 2007, compared to the eco-tourism surplus in 1998,it decreased by almost 73%,with the dramatic increase in the number of tourists,per capita eco-tourism surplus in 2007 was only 14.44%in 1998;②According to Tianmushan' per capita tourism ecological footprint summary,we can see that tourism transportation and tourism dining are the main part of the ecological footprint;③Using the linear regression and the results of the calculation from 1998 to 2007,the paper predicts the per capita tourism ecological footprint from 2008 to 2010:0.018160hm~2,0.019042hm~2,0.019686hm~2.Starting in 2008,there will be tourism ecological deficit per capita:0.002541hm~2,0.007484hm~2, 0.0111037hm~2;④In order to ensure sustainable development of Tianmushan,the paper calculates the total ecological carrying capacity and per capita ecological footprint of tourism,we can see that under the current patterns of consumption and the protection,Tianmushan'reception capacity is 266,089 each year;⑤the paper introduces the concept of net tourism ecological footprint,and take Tianmushan as example to study,the result is that tourists from Shanghai,Jiangsu,Jiangxi and Beijing to stay 1.48 days in Tianmushan,their net ecological footprint is:0.004902 hm~2<0.010031 hm~2<0.014909 hm~2<0.023058 hm~2.It shows that tourists from Shanghai has minimum net ecological footprint.In a conclusion,the tourism industry of Tianmushan has steady progress,but on the point of the calculations of tourism ecological footprint,its eco-tourism surplus declined each year.In order to achieve long-term sustainable development of tourism,the paper combines the results of the analysis of ecological footprint and the situation of Tianmushan and gives the advice about sustainable development of ecological tourism.Innovation of the paper:①The paper enriched ecological footprint method and applied in the analysis of Tanmushan' sustainable development in Zhejiang.②The paper introduced conception of net ecological footprint and took Tanmushan as example to analyze.
