As one of important devices of flexible alternative current transmission system,advanced static var generator is a shunt-wound var compensation device,which is mainly consisted of static var compensation and voltage invert technology.The research on using static var compensation device to realize the dynamic var compensation is a very popular topic in power electronic.This paper introduces the basic reactive power concept,basic theory of var compensation, the meaning of reactive power compensation,the application of instantaneous reactive power theory in detection of reactive power.On the basis of this analyze the basic theory of adcanced static var generator,buid the math model of advanced static var compensation system;then the paper introduces the two basic control plans:direct current control and indirect current control, analyze the characteristic of these two plans.According to the characteristic of these two plans and the content of ASVG which will be designed,this paper designs a direct current control advanced static var generator whose content isĀ±10Kvar.The circuit uses DSP TMS320F2812 as the core of haedware,choose the hardware and its parameter of main circuit.The software design choose the CCS2.0 of TI company as the software exploiture environment,set the initialization of DSP,EV and ADC module,give the power flow of main program,interrupt subprogram and instruction current operation program.Lastly,this paper carries out simulation and the result proves the feasibility of the system.
