| Objective:To observe the effects and mechanism of Shuweitang on the content of Substance P(SP),the positive expression of interstitial cells of cajal(ICC) and motilin(MTL) in functional dyspepsia(FD) rats,to investigate the treatment mechanism of functional dyspepsia.Methods:All rats were divided into six groups at random:control group, model group,high and low dosages of Shuweitang,domperidone and Mu--xiangshunqi groups. Functional dyspepsia model was induced by moderate enraging the rats' tails.Treatments were offered for 14 days,ICC and MTL were investigated by immunehistochemical assay, SP in plasma were investi--gated by radiommunoassay,And gastric emptying was observed with phe--nolsulfonphthalein.Results:1. Compared with the control group,diet and water intake in model group obviously decrease(p<0.05),After just 14 days of treatment,that were higher obviously and statistically in high dosages of Shuweitang,by contrast control group. 2. By comparing gastric emptying rate:Compared with control group, model group was obviously decreased(p<0.05);After just 14 days of treatment,it was higher obviously in high dosages of Shuweitang,and there was statistical difference as model group(p<0.05), high dosages of Shuweitang was higher than Muxiangshunqi, and there was no statistical difference between them;while it was lower than domperidone group, and there was statistical difference between them (p<0.05);at last, increase in low dosages of Shuweitang had no significant differences(p>0.05).3. By comparing SP,MTL,ICC:The content of SP,the positive expression of ICC and MTL in Model group were obviously decreased (p<0.05)compared with control group,After treatment,it was higher obviously in high dosages of Shuweitang,and there was statistical difference as model group(p<0.05);high dosages of Shuweitang was higher than Muxiangshunqi, there was no statistical difference between the two groups,while it was lower than domperidone group, and there was statistical difference between them (p <0.05);at last,increase in low dosages of Shuweitang had no significant differences(p>0.05).Conclusion:â‘ This probably provides the pathophysiologic basis of the functional dyspepsia of ICC,and the neurobiology of it are MTL and ICC.â‘¡High dosages of Shuweitang can increase diet and water intake of rats, promoted FD rats SP,ICC and MTL,then accelerate of gastric emptying.â‘¢ The possible mechanism of functional dyspepsia are up-regulation of ICC,MTL and SP,increase gastric emptying. |
