Clinical Study On Pancreatic Cancer Treated By "da Huang Zhe Chong Wan" Combined With Chemotherapy

Objective:Blood stasis symptoms is one of the most important reasons for the pancreatic cancer. This study based on the theory of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, combined with chemotherapy. Observing the combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment of pancreatic cancer. Methods:36 cases of colorectal cancer inpatients were randomly divided into two groups.18 patients in the treated group were administered with "Da huang zhe chong wan" and chemotherapy(GEM+OXA regimen), 18 in the control group with chemotherapy alone. Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during two periods of treatment. Results:After two periods of treatment, the subjective symptoms,KPS,body weights were all significantly improved in the treated group, better than in the control one. But there was no difference between two groups on the size of focus, the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree ware slighter in the treated group than in the control one. Conclusion:"Da huang zhe chong wan" and chemotherapy (GEM+OXA regimen)have better curative effect on treating advanced colorectal cancers.
