Objective:To study the wake-promoting effects of improved Angongniuhuang Pill for mice with disturbance of consciousness induced by chloral hydrate.Methods:30 Kunming mice were randomly divided into normal control group, improved Angongniuhuang Pill group, naloxone hydrochloride group, were treated with 5% chloral hydrate intraperitoneal anesthesia, until after the success of anesthesia were given normal saline, improved Angongniuhuang Pill suspension gavage, intramuscular naloxone hydrochloride, respectively, recorded in mice awake time in order to evaluate the role of improved Angongniuhuang Pill wake-promoting effects. Results:improved Angongniuhuang Pill group and naloxone group awake at all times shorter than the normal group (P<0.01), but the Angongniuhuang Pill group awake longer than that of naloxone hydrochloride group (P<0.01).Conclusion:The improved Angongniuhuang Pill pairs of mice with disturbance of consciousness induced by chloral hydrate marked wake-promoting effects.
