[Objective] To compare the locking plate and T-plate in the treatment of proximal humeral fractures in the clinical efficacy.[Method] 34 patients with proximal humerus fractures were divided into two groups according to internal fixation, compared two groups were age and type structure, the average blood loss and the average postoperative drainage, the average operation time and the average fracture healing time, postoperative complications, postoperative Constant and Murley shoulder score, to observe and compare the two kinds of internal fixation of clinical treatment.[Results]The difference in the two groups were compared, two groups were age and type composition in comparison, P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases of T-plate locking plate and blood loss were compared, both reached the P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases of T-plate locking plate and postoperative drainage were compared, both reached the P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases two and three part fractures of the average operation time were compared, both reached the P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases in two parts and three parts of the healing time of comparison, both reached the P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases two and three part fractures of postoperative complications were obtained by comparing the P <0.05, significant difference. Two cases two and three part fractures after shoulder scores were obtained by comparing the P <0.05, significant difference.[Conclusion] The locking plate and the T-plate type in the age and composition, Neer fracture type, blood loss, postoperative drainage, the average operating time, healing time was not significantly different; the shoulder score and the concurrent disease, the locking plate group was better than T-plate group, locking plate with small incision, periosteal blood supply to the bone damage is small, consistent with human physiology, few complications and good functional recovery.
