Study Of Factors Affecting The Development Of Chinese Medicine Departments Of General Hospitals

This research is base on "work Guide to traditional Chinese medicine in General Hospital", which is a horizontal issue of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese medicine. In the subject, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese medicine has identified eight aspects of traditional Chinese medicine:Chinese medicine work organization and policy measures; Function, layout, equipment of Chinese medicine clinical departments; Construction of Chinese medicine pharmacy; Traditional Chinese medicine treatment characteristics; Medical staffing and personnel training; Scientific research of Chinese medicine; Cooperation mechanism with Western medicine; Culture construction of Chinese medicine.Objective:Based on the eight aspects of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we summary of the all impact factors in General hospital of Chinese medicine; The impact factors in the literature only use the qualitative research, we attempt to break through it and try to give Scores for the impact factors; Order the relevant factors and find out the key factors, so we can clear development of Chinese medicine to promote general hospitals need to address the key issues; propose targeted policy recommendations to effectively improve the traditional Chinese medicine level of general hospital.Methods:The study combined qualitative and quantitative research methods. Based on literatures material, we have subdivided eight areas into 19 factors. We carry out pre-survey in four General Hospitals of Beijing in December,2009. In the interviews, we talk with the vice president, director of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine doctors and nurses. Combination with interviews, we add other influence factors to the ninth aspects. They are divided into twenty-eight factors. From January to June in 2010, we develop questionnaire survey in five cities,11 General Hospitals. Questionnaire survey includes basic personal information, the main factors and other factors. Questionnaire was send out 1060 copies and was recovered 900.815 copies were valid. Through the judgments of different categories of personnel in different General Hospital, we can explore the main factors that affect Traditional Chinese Medicine of General Hospital. At last, we use gray relational analysis to research the quantized mean of each factor. Based on model analysis, twenty-eight factors are ranked from strong to weak.Results:Though the Grey relational analysis, we get their different gray correlation degree of 28 factors. The size of the gray relational grade represents the degree of importance factors. Running results show that personnel training in medicine, clinical medicine, Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment technology, traditional Chinese medicine research, quality control of Chinese medicine were the most critical of 28 factors.Conclusion:With certain subjective, different respondents have different understanding on the factors. Because of having incomplete running mechanism, lacking of behavior date, devoid of experience in treatment, being naked inherent connotation, the Influencing Factors of the Chinese Medicine diagnostic and therapeutic Improvement fits for the method Grey Relational Analysis; Personnel training is the most critical factor in 28 related factors. In order to promote the development of Chinese medicine, we should conduct a detailed analysis and research to find the key steps for its development and implementation.
