| By using berberine, baicalin and the weight of the extract as quality control criteria, traditional extraction process of coptidis decoction for detoxification(CDD) was optimized with the aid of orthogonal design. Coptis root, Cortex phellodendri, Scutellaria root and Fruit of cape jasmine were identified by TLC with the spots clear and reproducible. Quantitative assays were pefformed on active components of berberine, baicalin and geniposide by L-IPLC. They had good linearity within the range of 3.54æ¢7.68~.ig.mL?( r=O.9996 ) , l.88?2.56~.tg.mJJ1 ( r0.9995 ) and 5.7O?7.OO~ig.rnL?(r0.9998) respectively. And the average recoveries of them were 94.7% (RSD=2.O%), 95.5% (RSD=l.8%), 96.3% (RSIY:4.9%) respectively. The chemical components of CDD and its compatible products were identified under different wavelength by HPLC and no new components were found out. It also can be concluded by comparing the contents of berberine, baicalin and geniposide in CDD and its compatible products that the changes of the contents of effective components was due to soluble promotion or inhibition. The method should be helpful for the study of compatible rules of chemical components in CDD. |
