Objectives : To investigate the effects and principle of Chinese traditional medicine combined with corticosterone in treating infantile frequent recur nephritic syndrome.Methods :Sixty inpatients with frequent recur nephrotic syndrome were divided into groups , which consisted of 30 cases as the treated group treated by Chinese traditional medicine combined with corticosterone and 30 cases of the control group were treated by corticosterone alone for one year . The change of recur degree , urinary protein, serum albumin, cholesterol , T cell subpopulation , croticosteroid before and after treatment were observed.ResultrThe recur degree of the treated group was significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05) . Compared with the control group , the treated group had curative effects than that of control group in immunity .Conclusion:Integrated traditional and western medicine treatment could reduce recur degree on infantile frenquent recur nephrotic syndrome which is tight relationship with adjustment of T cell parafunction , humoral immunity , enhance human performance of prevent affection , reducte infection , accelerate recuperation in adrenocortical function .
